After February 24, 2022, Ukraine witnessed extraordinary trials resulting from a full-scale Russian invasion of its territory. Business, in particular agribusiness, found itself in difficult conditions that required immediate adaptations and the search for new ways of survival. Despite this, Ukrainian agribusiness has shown endurance and determination, continuing its important role in providing grain not only to its own population, but also to other countries.

Analysts’ predictions sparked serious outrage and fears of a possible famine and total collapse of the industry. However, the sowing of the season took place according to all standards, even in conditions where tractors had to go around mines and workers worked to the sound of air alarms and rocket explosions. All this was done to ensure the proper level of the next season’s harvest.

Our company, like many other Ukrainian agro-traders, has undergone trials, but we have withstood them and are ready to return to full-time work. We understand the importance of our role in the development of the Ukrainian economy and support of the country’s agricultural sector in these difficult times.

The war forced us to reconsider our approaches and seek new opportunities in conditions that previously seemed impossible. We are not only renewing our activities, but also expanding them, offering new services and opening new directions.

One of the biggest difficulties we face is the blocking of most seaports on the territory of Ukraine. This resulted in the grain trade becoming largely dependent on rail and road transport, which were also severely challenged by the war. Despite this, we continue the wheat export and supply our customers, assuming all possible risks and difficulties.

Any help and support from our overseas partners and customers is extremely important to us during this difficult period. We believe in the strength of our country and are confident that together we will be able to overcome all obstacles and emerge victorious in this difficult struggle.

Thus, agrotrading in the new Ukrainian realities requires not only strength and endurance, but also flexibility and creativity in finding new solutions. We are sure that together we will be able to ensure the stability and prosperity of our country in these important times for it.
